El Campello

Home to our local beach—kilometers of sandy shoreline, a car-free promenade lined with palm trees as well as countless restaurants and little shops.

It is a typical, lively family beach that is especially popular with Spanish families in summer. On Sundays, it turns into a promenade for the villagers.

A plus: The beach has a special section for people with disabilities, so that you can also enjoy the beach, the sun, and the sea in a wheelchair.

Besides wading and swimming, it also offers surfing and standup paddling.

The daily public fish auction is among El Capello’s special attractions. Bidding is from the highest price on down. Not to be missed, regardless of whether you bid or not (Monday-Friday, 6 PM).
